Folks,

We are only 34 days out from Election Day, and it’s become clear that our votes are so much more than a referendum on the candidates we see on the ballots.

On the ballot this November are equal access to health care, the survival of social security, the hope for racial justice, the integrity of our political systems, and so much more.

It has been the honor of my life to sit in this seat and work for you and your family – for a better future for Alabama and our country. I can’t sit here today and tell you, though, that I’m not worried about that very future should we lose this seat – I’m saying that not as an incumbent, but as a voter, a father, a grandfather, a born-and-bred Alabamian, and a lifelong public servant.

As a Senator, I have worked every day for the people of Alabama and for those across this country whose interests have so often been ignored. But, for the next 34 days, I can’t face this challenge alone.

So, I’m humbly asking for your help.

Tomorrow at midnight is the last major fundraising deadline of this election. The folks on the finance team tell me we need a big push tonight if we’re going to stay on track to make sure Alabama hears the truth about my record. We also have to fund a big get-out-the-vote push to make sure every person’s voice is heard.

I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t so important – will you pitch in to my campaign today, friend? Your support means so much to me >>

I’m so grateful to have you behind me.

Thank you,
Doug Jones
