deadline. But right now, we’re still $3,899 short of our goal.

We’re depending on this budget to provide support and resources to the 7
Real Justice candidates running for election this November — three of whom
are in close races.

That’s why it’s absolutely critical we hit this goal. With the election
only weeks away, every donation makes a huge impact on our
endorsed-candidates’ chances of winning their races and bringing reform to
their communities.

Your donations over the years have enabled us to endorse and support
dozens of progressive leaders, we’ve been able to elect 12 transformative
prosecutors to major positions of power.

Every day, we hear powerful examples of the bold impact our
endorsed-leaders are making in their communities:

* Kim Foxx State Attorney of Cook County, IL: Under her leadership, the
number of people sentenced to jail or prison dropped by 20 percent.
* Kim Gardner Circuit Attorney of St. Louis, MO: Kim has reduced the
average daily St. Louis jail population by 39 percent. And, she has
cut prison incarceration in half, without increasing the crime rate in
St. Louis.
* Chesa Boudin District Attorney of San Francisco, CA: In his first 100
days in office, Chesa ended cash bail, secured housing for domestic
violence victims, and stopped charging cases from racist stop & frisk
detentions.

So no matter how bleak or discouraging the news may seem these days,
please know that this fight is nowhere over. If we elect 7 more reform
champions this November — we will be making a meaningful change to reform
criminal justice systems for millions of people.
