First and foremost, friends: thank you.

I am so grateful for your support. When I put out the call to action, you stepped up and I am so appreciative. We've had record turnout at our local town hall events -- the fire department even told us we had to find a bigger facility to hold all our supporters!

Our August recess is ending and I'm headed back to DC to serve the people of California's 48th district. Even though I'll be far from home, it's so important that we consistently check in with each other -- this is a community-led effort, after all.
