Why Bother With Debates?

“Those seeking higher office or reelection have a responsibility to show the public they are up to the challenge of the coming years. That means showing up to debate even if they can’t predict the outcome.”

Believe it or not, this quote is not from a right leaning newspaper from this year. This quote is from the LA Times last year in the days leading up to the midterm elections. The unapologetically leftist media supported debates then, but now they’re singing a different tune.

Though the Biden campaign has agreed to participate in three Presidential debates, it remains to be seen if these debates will at all resemble debates of the past.

Campaign In A Day - Liberty University

October 10 | 9:00am - 3:30pm

American Majority is pleased to announce it will be bringing back the Campaign-In-A-Day training experience to students at Liberty University on Saturday, October 10th. American Majority’s Campaign-In-A-Day is an interactive, rigorous, and team building training by American Majority. It is a great event to build and hone leadership skills. The attendees are split up into campaign teams. They are given a candidate, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, that they must figure out a plan to bring them to victory on election day. Throughout the course of the day attendees will be briefed on the do’s and don’ts of campaigns and immediately have to put what they have learned into action through allocating funds, messaging, and getting out the vote.

This training event is like none other that American Majority offers. Throughout the day you will be stretched competitively, creatively, and politically. Whether you’re a policy wonk, interested in how campaigns are run, or looking to work together with fellow students, this training has something for you. Here’s what previous attendees had to say:

In this episode of The Ned Ryun Podcast, Ned examines the controversial nomination of Amy Coney Barrett or ACB from the perspective of historical precedent, both decades ago and four years ago when Democrats supported the nomination of Merrick Garland. How did we get here and why does it matter? Listen to this latest episode to find out.
