Our final quarterly FEC fundraising deadline is tomorrow and before I ask you to donate again, I wanted to pause and explain what this fundraising deadline means for our campaign.
We’re up against a well-funded incumbent Republican Senator who is incapable of standing up to Trump and McConnell. He caves on everything: health care, impeachment, the Supreme Court, and votes in lockstep (95%!) with McConnell’s right-wing agenda in Washington.
Why does he do it? Because the more he votes with Trump and McConnell, the more they make sure his campaign is well-funded by corporate and right-wing special interests.
And so, we expect him to file a strong FEC report next month — and we want to make sure we not only beat him, but we do it the right way: no money from corporate PACs, no right-wing mega-donors... just everyday folks stepping up to help us flip this seat.
So, if you can afford it, I am asking you to make a contribution of any amount to our campaign today. We’re so close to hitting our goal and if we do, I think there’s a good chance we can outraise Gardner and report significantly more grassroots donations:
