Last week, we had to pause a lot of our own fundraising to direct our grassroots energy towards competitive Senate races. It made an impact, and we’re proud of that. But it’s made us fall a little behind on our own goals. Specifically…

These fundraising goals are important. They help shape our final get-out-the-vote strategies, digital persuasion, and more. That’s how a real grassroots campaign has to operate.

Sure, it’s a little harder to run a campaign like this. But the independence that building a real, people-powered movement brings is invaluable. It heavily outweighs whatever corporate or special interest PAC money we refuse.
