What would
you do with $649 billion?
That’s what the federal government spent on oil, gas, and coal subsidies
in 2015. That’s more than we spent on national defense, and 10 times the
federal budget for education.
The fossil fuel industry has friends in high places—and spends a lot to
keep them there. Cory Garner is now the industry’s biggest beneficiary.

If we’re serious about combating the climate crisis, we need to end these
subsidies—both the tax dollars we give the nation’s biggest polluters and
the campaign contributions they give in return. Pay-to-play politics
corrupts our democracy.

signed the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge. And like the young people who are
leading this fight, I strongly support the Green New Deal.

This is the most important quarter of the campaign, and we have just three
weeks left before our FEC deadline. [ [link removed] ]Please help us complete our
strongest month yet by chipping in $ or more right now.
The best way to beat Cory Gardner is to present a clear alternative. When
it comes to the climate crisis—and the companies that fuel it—Gardner and
I couldn’t be further apart.
