Your copy of new research + recording

Hello John,

I hope this finds you well.

We were delighted to have almost four hundred attendees register for yesterday's launch of the Review of the Youth Work Sector Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic ([link removed][UNIQID]) .

The response to this important piece of research was very positive. Minister O'Gorman welcomed it, and recognised the important role the youth work sector has played in these challenging times.

Our members took to twitter to react to the findings and make sure #YouthWorkChangesLives ([link removed][UNIQID]) was trending - and to remind government that that the value of youth work is worth remembering come Budget 2021.

But the young people, Mercy and Caillum, were the real stars of the show, bringing the research to life by sharing their experience of youth work during Covid-19 restrictions.

If you missed out, or you'd like to watch it again you can access the launch recording here >> ([link removed][UNIQID])
If you have any questions, let me know.

And please make sure to share this timely report widely among your colleagues across the sector.

Kind regards,

Mary

P.S. Below I've enclosed some of the media reaction to the report, which will help build momentum as we continue our campaign to highlight that #YouthWorkChangesLives ([link removed][UNIQID]) and that we need a further €4.7m investment in youth services in Budget 2021:
