Dear John, I am a former CIA case officer. I worked at home and abroad to keep our country safe and fight the threat of terrorism. And yet, the National Republican Congressional Committee is hitting me with another attack ad, again linking me to terrorism. They are questioning my patriotism, my service, and my integrity. It’s disgusting.
They aren’t attacking my voting record or my work in Congress, presumably because they know what I know – the voters in my district know I’m working hard on the issues that matter to them. They know I’ve introduced and passed legislation focused on lowering the cost of prescription drugs, protecting our borders, getting additional funding for broadband internet, and the list goes on. They know I have kept my promises to the people of Central Virginia, and I will continue working hard for you every day. So instead, they attack me. They tried this attack in 2018, and it failed. Please help us ensure this attack – and their shameful tactics – fail yet again. |
