but there's something we can do about it

This year has been scary. I bet you’re feeling it, John.

When our country was confronted with a pandemic threatening the health and livelihoods of our friends, families, coworkers, and neighbors, President Trump failed us. Not only that -- Trump tried to cover up the seriousness of the pandemic.

And when the pandemic threatened to jeopardize our elections, Trump saw it as an opportunity. He’s attacking folks’ ability to safely vote from home for his own political gain.

The news might be scary, but there’s something we can do about it. That’s why Ben and I started Vote From Home 2020.

We’re working to make sure voters can safely make their voices heard in this monumental election no matter what attacks and intimidation tactics Trump throws our way. We’re sending mail-in ballot applications to voters and following up to make sure they return them on time.

Thank you,

Suzy

------------
Vote From Home 2020 is a grassroots movement that's making vote by mail more accessible. With a $25 donation, we'll send vote by mail applications to 20 voters. COVID-19 has brought America to a halt, and with it almost all in-person voter mobilization efforts. While volunteers can’t get on buses to swing states or go door-to-door right now, we still must get out the vote where it counts. By sending vote by mail ballots to targeted states and following up with text and calls to voters, we can ensure the 2020 general election is safe and accessible. Please forward this email if you know someone who may be interested. Our average gift is just under $25 so consider donating that today to support voting rights.
