Hello John,

The first presidential debate will be taking place tonight.

Donald Trump has said he won’t be preparing for this debate at all -- completely in line with how he has handled his presidency so far. It’s a clear indication of his careless disregard for American voters, as moderators will likely ask for explanations on his Supreme Court power grab, the rising COVID-19 death toll, and the current economic crisis in the country.

For his part, Joe Biden is ready to use the debate stage to stand up to Trump and show American voters his plans to move our country forward. In his words: “I know how to handle bullies. Everybody knows who Donald Trump is. I plan to tell them who I am.”

Biden has served our country for over four decades and has already lived through two terms in the White House, but rather than provide answers on his own failures, Trump has run a monthslong campaign to depict Joe Biden as ill, senile, and incompetent. He has claimed “Joe is lost” and is hoping to use the debates to rewrite the narrative on Biden’s campaign. Many Americans have already expressed concern about Biden’s ability; today, we need to know where YOU stand:
