A new report from the New York Times broke last night, unveiling what many of us already knew to be true: Donald Trump is not as wealthy as he claims, and unlike normal Americans, he’s paid next to nothing in taxes.

It turns out that the President only paid $750 in federal income tax in 2016 and 2017. I know a whole lot of people in this country — teachers, nurses, service workers, and so many more — who pay a lot more taxes than the man in the White House who claims to be a billionaire.

What’s worse? The records show Trump “had paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years.” Talk about a con job.

And while he is living a life of luxury with his resorts, golf courses and even a private plane, he is stiffing working class families by cutting taxes for the wealthy and healthcare for everyone else.

Trump has conned the American people for long enough. We will soon have the chance to remove him from office this November, and we have only 5 weeks left in this election cycle to make sure we succeed.
