John,

When you follow the money and take a look at who’s been funding Jaime Herrera Beutler’s campaigns over the years, it starts to make a lot of sense why she puts lobbyists and corporate special interests before the people of Southwest Washington.

Herrera Beutler has received nearly $1.7 million in campaign contributions from corporate PACs. For the past decade, she’s been bought, and as pay-back she’s:

  • Bragged about voting more than 80 times to dismantle our health care system and repeal protections for those with pre-existing conditions.

  • Supported the Trump tax break which gave massive tax cuts to corporations, millionaires, and billionaires — something she’s called “the defining moment of her career.”

  • Voted against getting secret, dark money out of politics, regulating lobbyists, and cleaning up our political system.

During her decade in office, Jaime Herrera Beutler has proven she’s a creature of Washington D.C. who puts the special interests — not the people of Southwest Washington — first.

Carolyn is running to be the opposite of that. She aims to be a fighter for the people who listens to those in her district. She’s held more than 80 public events to hear directly from Southwest Washingtonians, while Herrera Beutler hasn’t had a single town hall in four years.

If you want a true representative of Southwest Washington in Congress, Carolyn is your candidate. Please, pitch in $10 or whatever you can before our last end-of-quarter fundraising deadline in just 48 hours to give us the resources to win:
