Good news, friend --

On Friday, a federal judge ruled that William Perry Pendley is unlawfully serving as head of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Read my statement here [[link removed]], and then make sure you’re following us on Facebook [[link removed]] and Twitter [[link removed]] to stay up-to-date on developments in this case.

This is a huge win for the Western Values Project and all public land advocates. We’ve known Perry is an extremist -- as well as anti-climate science, anti-public lands, and racist -- since he was appointed more than 400 days ago. According to Chief District Judge Brian Morris of the US District Court of Montana:

"Pendley has served and continues to serve unlawfully as the Acting BLM Director. His ascent to Acting BLM Director did not follow any of the permissible paths set forth by the U.S. Constitution or the (Federal Vacancies Reform Act).”

But friend, our work is not done -- Judge Morris gave both sides in the lawsuit 10 days to file a brief in response, and the Interior, led by the corrupt Secretary Bernhardt, is saying they’ll appeal. Until William Perry Pendley has vacated all of his duties and responsibilities at the department, we’re going to keep watching this case and making sure our elected officials know how dangerous he is.

Follow the Western Values Project on Facebook [[link removed]] and Twitter [[link removed]] to learn more and take action.

Thanks for all you do,

Jayson
