John, our country woke up today to two major reports that confirm how much of a crook Trump really is.
1. According to a newly released New York Times investigative report, Trump only paid $750 in federal taxes in 2016 and 2017. Only $750.
Trump has contributed less in taxes than the rest of us. It’s a slap in the face to every person who’s struggled to make ends meet while paying thousands in taxes.
2. A media outlet in the UK also released a report today about a leak from Trump’s 2016 campaign. New documents reveal that his 2016 campaign targeted 3.5 million Black Americans and labeled them as ‘Deterrence’ in part of an effort to suppress their votes.
This is who our president is. All of these reports reaffirm what we’ve known all along: Trump is a cheater, a liar, and a con man who is willing to break any rule to benefit himself.
Trump has spent his entire life breaking the rules for his own personal gain. It’s no shocker that this is the man who is once again trying to scam his way through this election.
Trump knows he can’t win so he’s trying to cheat and divide us – sowing doubts about this election and the right of every eligible American to have our voices heard.
This is exactly why it’s so critical we march on Oct. 17th. We are joining together with people from all walks of life to march and vote in record numbers, and demand that every single vote is counted to protect our democracy.
Men like Trump think they can get away with breaking the rules without any repercussions. We must remind Trump that WE ARE the final decision-makers in this election. Women see Trump for who he really is and we will fight with every ounce of courage and energy we have until November 3rd to end his administration.
Together, we’ll show Trump what accountability looks like.
