Well, John, it’s now official. Amy Coney Barrett is Donald Trump’s choice to be the next U.S. Supreme Court Justice.

With just weeks to go until Election Day, and early voting already underway, it’s outrageous that Senate Republicans are going to try to rush the nomination of a new justice. Here’s what a 6-3 conservative majority on the court could mean:

• A challenge to the longstanding precedent of Roe V. Wade
• Republicans get their wish in trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act
• A Supreme Court favorable to Donald Trump if it is needed to intervene in the presidential election result

So what can we do? We have to win BIG. We’ve got to stand up and keep pushing.
