Friend -- Mitch McConnell. Map Manipulators. Extreme politicians.

These aren't just synonymous -- they're all people standing in the way of a fair redistricting process.

What do we mean by that? Well, the Senate majority leader refuses to protect voters and our elections by passing commonsense election protections like the HEROES Act and Delivering for America Act to make sure everyone can vote while staying healthy as we face a global health emergency.

We set an end-of-month goal to raise $22,500 by Wednesday at midnight to combat this kind of anti-democratic obstruction by McConnell. But we need your help. McConnell's obstruction knows no bounds. After the devastating news last weekend, McConnell wasted no time to say he would appoint the next Supreme Court justice -- breaking his own precedent on Supreme Court nominations in an election year.

As A.G. Holder said on Tuesday: "This is not about principle -- it's always been about power."

The Senate majority leader continues to undermine our elections and politicize the Court because he wants to force his unpopular, extreme agenda onto the country.

If McConnell unfairly tilts the Supreme Court bench in his party's favor and continues to use his power to stonewall commonsense legislation to protect our elections, this will obstruct our ability to achieve fair maps during the redistricting process.
