Over the course of the next 35 days, we likely have two major priorities (u=
nless something else also comes up!). One is to support President Trump=E2=
=80=99s Supreme Court nominee, and the other is to Get Out The Vote and win=
the election!=20

So, the calls-to-action will mostly revolve around those two topics for the=
next several weeks. Remember, time is our most important resource because =
we can=E2=80=99t get any more of it, so let=E2=80=99s use it wisely!=20

**** Launch of =E2=80=98Moms for Safe Neighborhoods=E2=80=99
Today, a new organization of concerned mothers is launching called Moms for=
Safe Neighborhoods. Jenny Beth is on the advisory board, and below is a me=
ssage about this new organization from her and the other board members.=20

=E2=80=9COur purpose it to help re-elect President Trump so we can keep our=
children and communities safe. We=E2=80=99ve seen Biden and the Democrats =
undermine our safety during these national protests by calling for money to=
be diverted away from the police and waiting too long to call out violence=
around the country. By re-electing President Trump, we are making sure we =
will have policies in place to keep our families and communities safe and s=
trong.=20

=E2=80=9CWe want to share the message of safety and security to other moms,=
in particular suburban moms, across the country before the election.=20

**** Supreme Court Action

* Plan Weekly Sign Waving Events Now *
We are asking for activists to organize nationwide sign waving/flag waving =
events on the following dates now:

- This Thursday, October 1st
- Thursday, October 8th
- Monday, October 12th
- Thursday, October 15th
- Thursday, October 29th
- Monday, November 2nd

Scheduling weekly events keeps our messaging fresh in people=E2=80=99s mind=
s, and cuts through the lies and hysteria from the mainstream media and the=
left about Amy Coney Barrett and President Trump.

Since we aren=E2=80=99t sure when the actual confirmation vote will take pl=
ace, it=E2=80=99s a good idea to plan for the October 1st, 8th, 12th, and 1=
5th to have signs promoting Judge Barrett=E2=80=99s confirmation to SCOTUS.=
Feel free to encourage American flags and any other messages you=E2=80=99d=
like to be present.

We will update you as the process moves forward with messages and suggestio=
ns. Once she is confirmed, we won=E2=80=99t need to promote that anymore, b=
ut we will still need to share other messages about President Trump, etc.

**** Get Out The Vote Action

We need volunteers to send text messages; phone bank; and download, print, =
sign, and mail letters to voters in critical swing states.

There are only 35 days left until the election, and with many states starti=
ng early voting soon, we don=E2=80=99t have much time!=20

**** Sign Up to be a Poll Worker OR Help Someone Else Sign Up

There is still a drastic shortage of poll workers. Use our very short How-T=
o Guide to help you figure out if you are eligible and how to sign up.

Note that NOW is the time to be signing up because there are usually traini=
ngs that you must be able to go through, and there will be deadlines for co=
mpleting those trainings.

Also, in many states, teens can sign up to be poll workers. Since many kids=
aren=E2=80=99t in school right now, get them to help! Plus, in most states=
, poll workers get paid, and what teen doesn=E2=80=99t want a little extra =
money?

If you can=E2=80=99t be a poll worker because of health issues, you might b=
e able to help someone else sign up by offering to watch their kids. Again,=
since many kids aren=E2=80=99t in school right now, there might be parents=
who want to sign up, but need help watching their kids for the day.

**** Pledge to Vote in Person

The more mail-in ballots that are used, the easier it is for the left to st=
eal the election. It=E2=80=99s as simple as that.=20

The number one way we can stop this is to get as many voters to vote in per=
son as possible, where it is appropriate. Therefore, if you are able, pleas=
e sign this pledge to vote in person, and then make sure to do it!

NOTE: If you are high-risk and need to stay away from public places for you=
r health, or you live in a state where there is no in-person voting at all =
(like Washington state), this does not apply to you. We=E2=80=99ve also hea=
rd from an activist in New Jersey who said that in NJ, the situation may be=
different, so be sure to reach out to other activists in your state to see=
what they are saying about the best way to vote in your state.

* Plan Weekly Sign Waving Events Now *
We are asking for activists to organize nationwide sign waving/flag waving events on the following dates now:

Scheduling weekly events keeps our messaging fresh in people’s minds, and cuts through the lies and hysteria from the mainstream media and the left about Amy Coney Barrett and President Trump.

Since we aren’t sure when the actual confirmation vote will take place, it’s a good idea to plan for the October 1st, 8th, 12th, and 15th to have signs promoting Judge Barrett’s confirmation to SCOTUS. Feel free to encourage American flags and any other messages you’d like to be present.

We will update you as the process moves forward with messages and suggestions. Once she is confirmed, we won’t need to promote that anymore, but we will still need to share other messages about President Trump, etc.

**** Sign Up to be a Poll Worker OR Help Someone Else Sign Up

There is still a drastic shortage of poll workers. Use our very short How-To Guide to help you figure out if you are eligible and how to sign up.

Note that NOW is the time to be signing up because there are usually trainings that you must be able to go through, and there will be deadlines for completing those trainings.

Also, in many states, teens can sign up to be poll workers. Since many kids aren’t in school right now, get them to help! Plus, in most states, poll workers get paid, and what teen doesn’t want a little extra money?

If you can’t be a poll worker because of health issues, you might be able to help someone else sign up by offering to watch their kids. Again, since many kids aren’t in school right now, there might be parents who want to sign up, but need help watching their kids for the day.

The more mail-in ballots that are used, the easier it is for the left to steal the election. It’s as simple as that.

The number one way we can stop this is to get as many voters to vote in person as possible, where it is appropriate. Therefore, if you are able, please sign this pledge to vote in person, and then make sure to do it!

NOTE: If you are high-risk and need to stay away from public places for your health, or you live in a state where there is no in-person voting at all (like Washington state), this does not apply to you. We’ve also heard from an activist in New Jersey who said that in NJ, the situation may be different, so be sure to reach out to other activists in your state to see what they are saying about the best way to vote in your state.

Keep an eye out every week for a new activity or book or lesson to bring real civics back to our children.

This week, we are recommending you watch a live virtual event from the Heritage Foundation, titled, “America on Trial: A Defense of the Founding,” on September 30, 2020 at 1:00pm eastern. RSVP here: [link removed]

The attacks on America’s founding, including our Founding Fathers, our founding documents, and principles, as well as attacks on today’s America, require deliberate push back. It is really important that your kids and grandkids receive regular education about American values, and learn the truth about our founding.

This virtual event will likely be more appropriate or interesting for older elementary and above, but it’s always good to have things like this playing in the background for your younger kids just to hear, even if they don’t understand it all.
