John, he is who we thought he was.
Last night, The New York Times dropped a bombshell report showing that Donald Trump paid no income taxes in 10 of the last 15 years — and paid just $750 in taxes in 2016 and 2017.
Are you surprised? For years, we've known that Trump is a corrupt fraud who has lied and cheated his way through life — this just confirms it. But the worst part may be the systems in place for decades in this country that allowed him to do it.
We have a moral mandate not just to defeat Trump and Republicans in Congress — but to not let up until we transform this country into one that actually works for the many, not the corrupt wealthy few. Will you contribute to the Working Families Party's general election GOTV fund today and help hand Trump and Republicans a massive defeat at the polls? We need to raise $300,000 by midnight Wednesday to keep our voter outreach and turnout programs in key battleground states on track.

While Donald Trump was busy cheating and exploiting our broken tax system to save himself millions, he worked furiously with Republicans in Congress to cut taxes for corporations and billionaires.
And as they all got richer, they left working families behind. Tens of millions of us have now lost our jobs, our healthcare, our housing, even the ability to feed our families.
This corruption needs to end right now. We'll only do that by mobilizing an overwhelming, record turnout of voters to remove Trump from the White House, and then powering forward to win the structural change we so desperately need — starting with taxing the rich.
But we've got to keep pushing. We don't want to leave any votes on the table, which is why we're asking:
Can you help WFP reach our $300,000 general election GOTV fund goal by midnight Wednesday? This is our single most important fundraising deadline of the cycle yet, and anything you are able to give has a direct and immediate impact on our work in states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin during these critical last five weeks.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
