Melissa Romano ([link removed]) is running for State Superintendent of Public Instruction in Montana. She is a public school teacher, 2018 Montana Teacher of the Year, nationally recognized educator, and mom of four. She is running because Montanans deserve an advocate at the Office of Public Instruction who will advocate for our public schools and ensure every child has access to a quality education
Dr. Jen Mangrum ([link removed]) is a native North Carolinian and a lifelong educator. She has devoted her life to making schools safer for all children to learn and flourish. Day in and day out, she works to train, support, and motivate teachers. As an activist, she continues to work with statewide and local elected officials and activists to push North Carolina forward towards a brighter future in which the state is widely known for its excellent treatment of children, educators, and education experts.
Both Romano and Mangrum have been endorsed by EMILY’S List and NEA and are excited to advocate for our public schools and students.
