ISSUE OF THE WEEK: REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM + HEALTHCARE

Keene (Cheshire 16) candidate Amanda Elizabeth Toll was asked by the New Hampshire Democratic Party to participate in their Veto Sununu tour alongside Executive Council (District 2) candidate, Cinde Warmington (pictured below,) and to specifically address the governor’s attacks on reproductive rights in New Hampshire. Amanda participated in the tour by sharing her own abortion story and calling out Sununu’s attacks on reproductive rights in New Hampshire. We are proud of Amanda's bravery and leadership in sharing her personal experiences with reproductive freedom and healthcare. Learn more about her campaign at https://electamandanh.com/.

"It is infuriating that under Republican administrations we have to fight so hard against destructive public policy, like defunding real reproductive health clinics and attempting to fund sham crisis pregnancy centers that give biased right wing propaganda about abortion to clients. We need to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, so instead of just focusing on protecting from vicious Republican assaults what we have already, we can really implement reproductive justice, making reproductive health services equitably accessible and mandating paid family leave.

I am a firm believer that all people regardless of race, economic status, gender, and sexual orientation, have the right to not have children when they don’t want them, and have them when they do want them. When people do have children, they are entitled to raise them in safe, healthy environments with the resources they need, including access to healthcare, housing, and education." - Amanda Elizabeth Toll

We are planning weekly phonebanks for October with various Young Dems candidates! We've got a lot of voters to talk with- over the phone, through texting, on social media, and more. We are overcompensating for our lack of ability to canvass this year -- so stalk up on all of your devices' chargers, and get ready to get chatty on Zoom, Meet, and over the phone with Granite State voters.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER FOR YD STATE RACES IN #TALKTOBER

We are also having open meetings for regional organizing every Wednesday at 7pm in October. If you're interested in organizing to plan events and actions on the back-end, we would love your help!!
