Fellow Conservative:

Good afternoon from Capitol Hill. We've got a
Supreme Court confirmation, the first presidential debate (after
nearly one million people have already voted), and a government
funding deadline in two days. Also last week, Sen. Ron Johnson's
(R-Wis.) committee revealed the bombshell that Hunter Biden
received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the
wife of the former mayor of Moscow -- in addition to millions of
dollars from other foreign nationals with questionable
backgrounds.

A day later, Sen. Lindsay Graham's (R-SC) committee
declassified documents demonstrating that the Steele dossier,
which played a "central and essential role" in the FBI's decision
to seek a FISA warrant against Trump national security advisor
Carter Page -- on suspicion that he was cavorting with the
Kremlin -- was based primarily on information provided to the FBI
by someone the FBI had reason to believe was a Russian spy
himself. And apparently, there's more where that came from.

In other words, there are a ton of things happening.
Hang on for the ride.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsay Graham
(R-SC) has announced that hearings for President Trump's Supreme
Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, will begin on Monday, October
12. They will proceed apace through Thursday, where the committee
will then plan on voting. Democrats have already signaled their
intent to muck up the committee process, dragging it out as long
as possible.

The Conservative Partnership Institute has launched
the Supreme Court War Room to provide rapid response to the
liberal attacks against Judge Barrett and give our allies the
resources to fight back!

SUPPORT THE WAR ROOM

Most of what they are proposing requires a physical
stamina and commitment that Senate Democrats, beyond a few of
their younger all-stars, possess. But Democrats will,
undoubtedly, still engage in procedural brick throwing that will
result in days-long delays.

Democrats have also shown their willingness to
engage in the blatant and baseless character assassination that
characterized their effort against Supreme Court nominee Brett
Kavanaugh just two years ago. Over the weekend, the much-feted
critical race theorist Ibram Kendi openly speculated that
Barrett's adoption of two black children from Haiti made her a
racist.

One Democratic operative suggested that the Senate
review the process of her adoptions. Another "journalist"
suggested that Barrett was using her two African American
children, as well as her Down syndrome son, to "score political
points." Not to be left out, the feminists moved on from decrying
Barrett as the literal manifestation of The Handmaid's Tale to
questioning her fitness as a mother.

Democratic senators, of course, previously attacked
Barrett over her Catholic faith, suggesting her religious
affiliation would impair her neutrality as a judge. Sen. Josh
Hawley (R-Mo.) has sent a letter to Democrat leader Chuck Schumer
(D-NY) emphasizing that such anti-religious bigotry will not be
tolerated at the upcoming hearings. Over 100 conservative leaders
recently signed a memo stating the same.

Also in case you missed it last week, President
Trump announced he would be signing an executive order clarifying
that babies born alive after botched abortions - or those born
prematurely, with disabilities - should be given medical care.

Somehow, this basic notion of humanity is still
debatable in Democrat circles. More from me on the executive
order, the Democrat's opposition, and the president's pro-life
record here.
