This weekend, Trump announced his pick for Supreme Court Justice: conservative, ‘pro-life’ judge Amy Coney Barrett. Because she happens to be a woman, some bad-faith conservatives are trying to play her nomination as a win for feminism.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there is nothing feminist about being ‘pro-life.’ Give now.

Barrett, who has a dangerous ‘rock star’-like reputation in conservative circles for punitive beliefs about sexuality, has also been praised by anti-abortion activists and groups like Susan B. Anthony List [1].

Don’t let anyone pretend using sex and gender to oppress is feminism. Donate today.

At stake? Dramatically revoking rights the Supreme Court has affirmed of critical importance to gender equality, including health care protections under the Affordable Care Act and the right to abortion.

Say no on this dangerous nominee.

Sincerely,

Erin Matson

P.S. Big ‘Pro-Life’ doesn’t care at all about women, even when they put women in the front.  The rush to confirm Amy Coney Barrett in the midst of an election that is already underway is an illegitimate attempt to make misogyny the law of the land. Give to stop it.
