We’re suing Foster Farms, a large slaughterhouse and chicken processing plant in Livingston, California, for violating state law by using a cruel, water-intensive slaughter method during a drought.

Florida Enacts Shark Finning Law
Tens of millions of sharks are killed annually for their fins. In mid-September, Florida enacted the Kristin Jacobs Ocean Conservation Act which limits the sale, import, and export of shark fins to help ensure that Florida no longer supports or participates in the global shark fin trade.
