Brothers and Sisters:
One of the biggest elections of our lifetime is coming up in November. The votes that we cast as union members will be crucial in ensuring we have pro-labor candidates elected at the local and state level all the way up to the White House. BCTGM members need to show our union voting power and solidarity at the ballot box.

With early voting already taking place in many states, and other states to follow in October, I wanted to get this important issue into the hands of BCTGM members without delay.
What are the BCTGM’s priorities in this election? BCTGM members have made it clear that they want a president who shares their priorities. Check out the BCTGM's top priorities on pages 4 and 5.
What are the differences between President Trump and Joe Biden on vital issues that matter to working families? Read the facts on pages 6 and 7.
What do BCTGM leaders and influencers have to say about what makes the 2020 elections important? See pages 8 and 9.
We must all take steps to ensure nothing prevents us from exercising our right to vote. That means making a plan early that may include voting from the safety of home.
Have you made your plan? Are you voting by mail? Early? On November 3rd? Visit WorkersFirstVoteUnion.org to check your voter registration status and find the information you need to vote, including polling place locations and resources to vote by mail safely, securely and on time!

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to harm communities across the country, there has been a sharp decrease in the number of people who are able to work at the polls in their town on Election Day. This threatens the number of polling places that can remain open and could easily create long lines.
If you would like to help staff your local polling place please fill out this form. As America’s labor movement holds our country together during a pandemic, we also must support & safeguard our election process!
Together, united, we can make change happen.
In solidarity,
Anthony
