COVID-19 has completely changed our campaign. We have canceled events, moved field events online, and conducted voter outreach remotely.

But while everything hasn’t gone quite according to plan, we are turning lemons into lemonade! Our supporters are simply THE BEST. All over CT-05, they are hosting small “lawn parties” with friends and families to do socially distanced phone banking, post carding, and volunteer training. Take a look:

As we continue to get the word out virtually, we are hiring more field staff, ordering more signs, buying more media, sending more postcards, and making more phone calls.

But these actions cost money – we need to stock up on supplies, literature, and technology to ensure our volunteers are ready to work remotely and efficiently.
