BEFORE THE FEC DEADLINE:
Chip in to strengthen our campaign for MD-02 >>

Friends, I have some exciting updates I want to share with you:

  • I’m so proud to receive an A rating from the National Parks Action Fund, a reflection of my proven track record of support for our National Parks and for preserving our waters and wildlife for future generations. I want my grandson Charlie to be able to enjoy Maryland and our country’s natural wonders the way I have been able to do my entire life, and that’s why I’m committed to fighting for our National Parks and our environment in Congress.

  • My bipartisan measure to provide $10 million to hospitals to expand violence intervention programs and stop the cycle of violence in our communities advanced out of committee and now heads to the House floor. This important legislation was inspired by the successful violence intervention program at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, a place that has been deeply personal to me ever since its staff saved my life after a serious car accident years ago. I’m committed to fighting for this measure to strengthen and expand the center’s innovative services.

  • I’m supporting a measure in Congress that would provide funding to bolster efforts to increase diversity in our schools. This is an important piece of legislation -- more than a half-century after Brown v. Board of Education, American public schools are more segregated now than they were then. Diversity is our country’s strength, and it should be reflected in our schools.

I want to continue this important work for Maryland and our country, but Washington Republicans are determined to put a stop to all of our efforts in Congress and unseat me this November on their path to taking back the House Majority.

The last FEC end-of-quarter deadline of the election is two days away -- if you’re able to make a contribution before the deadline, it would make a big difference in strengthening our campaign in these final weeks before Election Day

Your friend,

Dutch
