Times are heavy. Very, very heavy. I know things feel like the stakes are rising by the day and with the election just over a month away, it can feel like our time to make an impact is slipping through our fingers.
I also know that you are being bombarded with asks and it could be challenging to assess where your time, energy, and resources should go in this final stage. I wanted to reach out today to explain why you are going to hear from my team more this week.
Wednesday is our final quarterly Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing before November 3. The reason why this matters is because our report will be public. This means everything we have in the bank will be public knowledge.
My opponent is already on the air attacking my candidacy using Islamophobic smears. I’m confident he is standing by ready to scour my report looking for any sign of weakness. I’m also sure that he will be making assumptions on our media strategy based on the numbers we report.
I’ve already promised to only ask for money when it is important. Well this is the most important moment of the campaign. Every penny in the door will go right back out to connect with voters for the final month. My team knows we need another $25,000 in the door before midnight on Wednesday. This is the bare minimum needed to effectively execute our outreach, media, and event strategies.
