In the past week, Speaker Pelosi has fiercely condemned Donald Trump and the Republican Senate’s grasp for power after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing -- and these new changes serve as the latest Democratic attempts to prevent further abuses of power.
Standing firm in defense of our democracy, Pelosi stated: “We have a responsibility to meet the needs of the American people. That is when we weigh the equities of protecting our democracy requires us to use every arrow in our quiver.”
