Soon, we’ll learn whether our efforts over these past four years were enough to set our country down a more hopeful path -- the path that Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats across the nation will work to achieve. Please take a moment to read this note from beginning to end, and then, if you can, chip in $7 to the Democratic Unity Fund before this week’s end-of-quarter deadline.

I ran two successful campaigns for the presidency, but I can confidently tell you that this election is more consequential than any in my lifetime. It also looks a whole lot different; and with folks already returning their ballots, there’s so little time left to make a difference in the most critical races.

That’s why I’m coming directly to you. Our party faces an important quarterly deadline on Wednesday at midnight, and Democratic candidates -- from my friends Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, to your local elected officials -- are counting on the full support of the Democratic Unity Fund in these final weeks, so I must ask:

Will you make a $7 contribution to the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund before this week’s end-of-quarter deadline? We’ve got to make the most of these final weeks, and that will require the unequivocal support of people like you.

There’s no doubt that these past few years have been trying, but they’ve also brought out the best in us. In the face of unprecedented challenges, people like you have time and time again come together to fight for a better tomorrow. That gives me great hope.

We’re so close to the finish line, and I understand how tempting it can be to look at the polls and just hope for the best. But let me be clear: If there’s one thing we can’t afford in these final weeks, it’s complacency.
