The presidential election is already underway in 11 states today.

Donald Trump's plan to jam his right-wing Supreme Court nominee through the Senate confirmation process before the American people finish having their say on Nov. 3 sets a tone that's consistent with so many of his other actions. It's a threat to our democracy. And it could change the course of our country for decades.

With this lifetime appointment, the Supreme Court will be packed with enough ultra-conservative justices to strike down the Affordable Care Act, Roe v. Wade, and countless fundamental rights. Protections for those with preexisting conditions, equal healthcare for women, equal access to voting… all of these are now at grave risk for all Americans.
