During a radio interview this week, Cindy Hyde-Smith claimed she doesn’t believe that Mike Espy is just one point behind her in the polls for Mississippi’s U.S. Senate seat. We watched it, so you don’t have to waste your time watching it, too.

When asked about the poll, Hyde-Smith said, “I don’t think anybody in their right mind would think that that poll is accurate.” Okay, Cindy.

She then went on to say that a victory for Mike would be a “total disaster,” and that it "would undo so many things that President Donald Trump accomplished. We would never straighten it out in twenty years.”

Once again, Hyde-Smith proves her priorities are set on staying in line with the GOP, not on the issues most important to the people of Mississippi.

What was really laughable was when Hiding Hyde-Smith called the energy coming out of our campaign “a lot of noise.” We guess after failing to hold a single public event to listen to the people of Mississippi for months on end, she doesn’t know what grassroots momentum looks like.

Despite getting outraised multiple times — including this past week, in which we raised five times more than Hyde-Smith raised in an entire quarter — our opponent said her campaign “feels very good” about this race.

feel “very good” about this race too. Let’s make it plain that Hyde-Smith can’t just slide by and automatically win this race. We’re putting up a solid fight — and with your help, we can do the unexpected and unseat this far-right incumbent and replace her with Mike Espy on November 3.

With our final end-of-quarter FEC deadline just three days away, can you make a grassroots contribution of $10 or more to keep showing Hyde-Smith that we have what it takes to win?
