This short event will feature a quick 15-minute presentation from FIJA to:
- update you on recent jury-related news such as the status of trial by jury during the pandemic, court cases related to jury rights, legislation regarding trial by jury, etc., and
- highlight one FIJA project, resource, activity, etc.
I'll start on time (hold me to it!), spend 15 minutes on jury-related news and one FIJA highlight, and then you are good to go. Easy peasy.
Optionally, you are invited to stick around for another 15 minutes for a quick Q&A. Make your questions brief! We will start on time AND end on time, so we'll have no 5-minute speechifyin' under cover of Q&A or anything like that. Remember, I wield the power of the mighty mute button!
Apologies for the last minute notice. I made this decision to move up the start date just recently, hence the timing. Do not fear if you miss the September session! I have scheduled 15 Minutes with FIJA sessions every Monday through October. After that, we'll assess the format, scheduling, etc. and take it from there.
