The newest polling data from Michigan shows the U.S. Senate race there continues to be a nail-biter. The Detroit Free Press, a liberal-oriented newspaper, says there newest poll shows Republican John James surging, and on the heels of Democrat Senator Gary Peters.
If the GOP can win this seat, it would flip a Democrat-held Senate seat into the Republican column, which would deal a devastating blow to the Democrats:

Gary Peters voted against President Trump's Supreme Court nominees, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. And liberal Gary Peters voted against the Trump Tax Cuts.
