John — early last week, our campaign manager, Luke, wrote to you about our end-of-quarter filing deadline with the Federal Elections Commission. He talked about our goal of raising $350,000, and how critical it is that we reach it before the midnight deadline this Wednesday.
We're all working hard to reach this critical goal. But the truth is, we're still a bit behind on where we need to be for the month.
Our progressive movement is rooted in grassroots power, John. That's why from the very start, Jamaal has rejected all donations from corporate PACs and lobbyists. Our efforts are only possible — and will continue to be possible — because of you.
This is the final quarterly FEC deadline before Jamaal's first general election on November 3rd. Everyone will get to see whether or not we reach our $350,000 goal after the FEC report becomes public, and use those fundraising numbers to determine the strength of our candidate, campaign, and political movement.
