Social Distancing and Mask Rules Don’t Apply When You’re a Big Shot like Mark Poloncarz

Buffalo, NY - Karl Simmeth, Chairman of the Erie County Republican Committee blasted Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz for blatant hypocrisy after photos surfaced of him maskless, posing for a photo with 15 other golfers.

Karl Simmeth said, “The hypocrisy of Mark Poloncarz was in full view today, after photos of him posing maskless, smiling, with 15 other men was posted September 26th by his associate Tom Bigaj.

Poloncarz has told the public to be afraid and echoed Andrew Cuomo’s threats to shut down Erie County a second time. Poloncarz closed businesses, put people out of work, and crushed families’ futures in the name of Social Distancing. But the rules don’t apply to Poloncarz and his friends.

If its a De-fund the Police Protest or a beer-soaked Mark Poloncarz golf celebration it’s ok to break the rules that the rest of us have suffered to live under.

With Mark Poloncarz it’s do as I say and not as I do.  He’s a damn hypocrite and the media has a duty to report it.”

The Facebook account of Tom Bigaj posted a series of photos referring to a golf tournament on Saturday, September 26th. The final photo shows Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz without a mask, and the Caption reads “A better photo of the team of victors.” The previous photo indicates that the group was there as part of a South Park vs Cazenovia golf tournament.
