This is urgent, John: Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell are fast-tracking a nomination to be seated on the Supreme Court with just 37 days left before Nov. 3.

This move isn't just hypocritical. It's a blatant attempt to strip away the voices of Nevadans and millions of Americans who are already making their voices heard by mailing in their ballots. And this could mean the end of protections for preexisting conditions, reproductive freedoms and other basic human rights for generations of Americans.

With our fundamental freedoms hanging in the balance, Democrats' fight for the White House has never been more important. But our path to the White House runs through Nevada - and the latest polls say that the race to keep Nevada blue is close.

Please, what we do now could be the difference between winning and losing on Election Day.
