Last night, I went back to Trump’s favorite network to speak some truth to the millions of viewers that tune in. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I’ll take on ANYONE who challenges what we’re trying to do for working people. 

 

It would be an understatement to say that Tucker Carlson and I disagree on a LOT. But we should never be afraid to have a dialogue with people who disagree with us — especially when we have a chance to stand up for what we believe in.

As my team told you yesterday, automation is an existential threat to working people in this country. Millions of Americans will lose their jobs so that big companies can increase their profits. We can’t allow automation to go unchecked as the rich get richer at the expense of working people. Even Tucker Carlson couldn’t disagree with that.

My automation plan is the ONLY plan that would provide security for workers and facilitate new, secure, well-paying jobs for the next generation of working people. It’s time to protect American workers and ensure we all share in the gains of a high tech future.
