Folks, Gina must win her highly competitive race for Texas’ 23rd Congressional District.

President Trump has said that Gina’s opponent “is working for him.” Well, that’s just too dangerous for the people in South and West Texas—and for the entire country.

Anyone who embraces a homophobic message, wants to eliminate the ACA, and remains silent when President Trump calls our veterans and fallen brothers and sisters in arms “losers” and “suckers” is not fit to serve in Congress.

Gina and I both served in the military—both served under Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell—and our public service has been guided by the oath we took to support and defend our Constitution. Based on her long record of public service, I know that Gina will always fight for what’s best for her community and our country.

Gina needs the resources now to reach swing voters. It’s expensive to run bilingual TV and digital ads, a robust mail program, and a field plan that reaches across a district larger than 30 states. But all of this is possible with a strong team of grassroots donors standing with her.
