Hi John, Sophie here. 

As the campaign manager for Penzone for Sheriff, my job is to make sure the campaign is running smoothly so Sheriff Penzone can keep focused on public safety first and foremost.

With our end-of-quarter deadline fast approaching, that means my days are filled with scouring our budgets, checking fundraising totals, and preparing our last financial report of the cycle. 

The amount we raise by September 30th will determine how much resources we can put toward our voter outreach efforts in the final weeks of the cycle — and coming up short of our goal will signal to our opponent and outside spenders that our campaign is vulnerable. 

This is the most important deadline of the election cycle. Will you help us make up the $16,570 left to raise so that we can head into the home stretch of this campaign as strong as ever? 

We’ve got a LOT planned for the final six weeks of this campaign. We will be getting ads live across multiple platforms, plus we’ll be hosting virtual phone banks to make sure voters know the facts about Sheriff Penzone’s record and how to safely cast their ballots.

But all of these plans could come to a halt if we can’t raise enough funds this month to make key investments through Election Day. No fundraising deadline to date has had as much on the line as the one we’re facing right now.

This grassroots team of supporters has done incredible work over the course of this cycle to support Sheriff Penzone’s vision for Maricopa County and keep him moving us forward towards a stronger, safer community.
