Indivisibles,
Just 18 hours ago, Trump announced his Supreme Court nomination: Amy Coney
Barrett. We're not exaggerating when we say having her on the bench would
put lives in danger: she openly opposes the Affordable Care Act (while
we're in the midst of an unchecked pandemic), she's critical of Roe v.
Wade, and she's a major threat to recent progress toward LGBTQ equality.
We can’t let Trump build a decades-long ultra-conservative majority on the
Supreme Court. So now we have two urgent tasks ahead of us:
1. Stop the Senate from confirming Amy Coney Barrett.
2. Elect a president and senators who will appoint justices committed to
defending our rights.
These two action items are going to consume us for the next five weeks,
and they’re going to take an unprecedented amount of time, effort, and
resources to pull off. We already needed to raise over $1.4 million to
fund our election plans, but now we’re also taking on a historic Supreme
Court fight. We’re pouring resources into it: we added $285,000 to expand
our peer-to-peer texting program, $65,000 in direct support to candidates,
and an extra $20,000 spend on ads last week alone -- not to mention
hundreds of hours of staff time.
We can’t afford to let up now, but we rely on grassroots support to make
it all possible -- [ [link removed] ]donate $10 today to fund all the resources we need
to win in November, protect the Supreme Court and democracy, and support
all our work.

We’ve proved before that when Indivisibles come together to multiply our
impact, we can accomplish so much. The stakes for this election are so
high -- we’re excited to have you on board as we do everything we can to
win.
In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
P.S. -- Another way we’re working to win this year is with our latest
Windivisible Week of Action, which starts tomorrow. Local Indivisible
groups nationwide are hosting phonebanks, debate watch parties, and more
