This is horrifying, John: Less than a month after a shooting left 22 dead in El Paso, seven more people were murdered in a rampage near Odessa, Texas, over the weekend.
We've seen more mass shootings than days in 2019, and in August alone, 53 people were killed. Mass shootings are not only increasing in number, they're getting deadlier. The country is in the middle of a gun violence crisis – and our work to save lives has never been more important.
We've put together a brief poll on the topic, and we'd like your input. We're hoping to get 16 responses from gun safety champions in your area before midnight, but we haven't seen yours yet. Please, tell us now:
Are you concerned by the number of mass shootings in the United States?
