John,

President Trump just officially announced he has selected Amy Coney Barrett, former law clerk to Antonin Scalia, to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court.

Now, Mitch McConnell and his fellow Republicans are gearing up to ram this confirmation through the Senate with just five weeks to go until Election Day.

The American people must rise up in this moment and oppose this blatant attempt to circumvent the will of the people weeks before Election Day. Add your name now to oppose any confirmation before the next President is sworn in.

Before she died, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's final wish was that the next President would choose her successor. It's so important that we honor the legacy of this incredible woman and let the American people's voices be heard on November 3 before filling this vacancy.

But President Trump and Leader McConnell are hellbent on dishonoring Justice Ginsburg by appointing an extreme far-right Justice who will rubber stamp their harmful agenda, including sabotaging health care access.

Here are the facts: The next Supreme Court will decide the fate of affordable health care -- and Judge Barrett is already on the record stating that the Supreme Court case that saved the Affordable Care Act was wrongly decided.

If the Republicans get their way, they'll have another vote on the highest court in the land to repeal our affordable health care law and leave millions without the coverage they need.

We must do everything we can to fight back. Sign on now to urge Republicans to follow the McConnell rule and wait until after Inauguration Day to confirm any new Justices to the Supreme Court.
