We don’t want to beat around the bush, so we’re going to keep this short.

Here’s the bad news: Our fundraising numbers were not where we wanted them to be for our September 25th deadline. We needed 6,000 grassroots supporters, and Texas GOP groups outraised us two to one.

Now we’re looking to make up those 6,000 grassroots donors before October 1st to give Texas Democrats the firepower they need to take back the House. This is our last chance to make a difference. And the last thing we want to see is a blue trickle show up on November 3rd instead of a big and powerful Blue Wave.

Here’s the good news: We are lucky to have a generous (anonymous) Texan who is willing to match every donation from now until September 30th. This is our moment to turbocharge our momentum and make our new goal with stronger numbers than the Texas GOP’s.
