John,

President Trump just nominated conservative Amy Coney Barrett to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court just weeks before this election.

Mitch McConnell blocked President Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland for 293 days, citing the proximity of the election. Now, Republicans will rush to confirm Barrett as fast as they can. This nomination is not only hypocritical, but it would also shift the ideological balance of the Supreme Court for a generation.

President Trump has urged the Supreme Court to overturn the Affordable Care Act and leave millions of Americans without health care at a time when it's needed more than ever. Now, he's nominated a judge who publicly criticized Supreme Court decisions that upheld the ACA against partisan attacks in 2012.

In addition to the ACA, voting rights, reproductive rights, and so much more are all on the line. To protect the Affordable Care Act, defend Roe v. Wade, and get dark money out of politics, it's crucial we protect Kim's seat in Congress this November.

Before our critical end-of-quarter deadline, chip in $5, or whatever you can afford, to reelect Kim and protect our Democratic House majority.

Thank you,

Team Schrier

Dr. Kim Schrier, the only female doctor in the House, is running for re-election in Washington's 8th Congressional district. Her seat has been named a top target by national Republicans, so she needs help from grassroots supporters. Will you pitch in to help protect Kim's seat and the Democratic majority?
