Friend,

Today, Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But no matter who sits on the bench or how SCOTUS leans, we know that young people will continue the fight to keep power where it belongs: In the hands of the people, NOT the courts.

We must pull together to build a more perfect union. Even if Roe v. Wade is overturned or gutted, we are committed to enacting and expanding progressive policies that advance Reproductive Justice for all at every level of government.

Anti-abortion activists and extremist politicians believe wholeheartedly that they’re about to taste victory. They should know that, no matter who sits on the bench, that victory is likely to be short-lived. Because judicial power, like every branch of government, needs checks and balances. We are that check and balance.

We will fight tyranny and injustice wherever it rears its head. Young people are 76-million strong and counting, and nothing can stop us from building a better nation that protects the lives and liberties of every person.
