Donald Trump has just announced his pick to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. No surprise--his pick is someone who has been clear about her desire to overturn the Affordable Care Act and strike down Roe v. Wade.

This Supreme Court seat should be filled by the next president, Joe Biden, and approved by the Senate elected this fall. I'm going to do everything I can to delay this pick as long as possible. Our odds of success are low, but I'm going to fight with everything I've got.

And here's the thing--whether we can delay this confirmation vote or not, this nomination shows how crucial it is that we win the White House and the Senate in the next election.
