John -- Predictably, Trump has just nominated a controversial and extreme right-wing consertive to replace RBG.

Amy Coney Barrett is a member of the Federalist Society, the group that bankrolled Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment. Barret also opposes Roe v. Wade, has opposed provisions in the ACA that grant benefits for reproductive health, and openly opposed same-sex marriage.

The GOP have already taken steps to stack the deck against the fabric of our Democracy. Changing the makeup of our Supreme Court to prop up conservative partisanship could undo decades of advancement in civil liberties -- liberties that RBG herself fought and won for us!

Honestly, Coney Barrett’s appointment is going to happen. There is not enough political power to counter a complicit GOP in ramming through Trump’s appointment.
