A few minutes ago, Donald Trump announced his nominee for the Supreme Court. Senate Republicans have made clear that they will shamelessly rush a confirmation hearing and vote before Election Day.

They're doing this to install a justice who will move to strike down the Affordable Care Act and its protections for people with pre-existing conditions during a pandemic and reverse Roe v. Wade.

We are going to see many rulings in the coming years that threaten the progress so many have fought tirelessly for, but I promise you this: I will not stop fighting for women's rights. I will work tirelessly in the House to undo any damage caused by future cases. And I hope to have partners in a Democratic-controlled Senate.

New polling shows that that have an opportunity to elect a wave of strong Democratic women to the Senate this year:

  • In Maine, Sara Gideon leads 45% to 41%
  • In Iowa, Theresa Greenfield is tied at 47%
  • In Kansas, Barbara Bollier is tied at 42%
  • In Texas, MJ Hegar is down just 40% to 38%

Sweeping these races would flip the Senate and allow us to pass so much critical legislation. Your grassroots support can make a big difference in races this close.
