As you may know, when I was a child, I had a severe illness that put me in the hospital for three months. Even though I fully recovered, my grandparents, who raised me, were unable to get me insurance at any price because I had this previous illness.

Like 133 million Americans, I know what it's like to have the label "pre-existing condition" attached to my care — and before the Affordable Care Act was passed, many of us could be denied coverage.

So, you can imagine my frustration as Donald Trump nominates another far-right conservative Supreme Court justice — Amy Coney Barrett — who will stop at nothing to dismantle our health care system. And I’m not exaggerating.

Just one week after the election, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a case on the ACA. We cannot allow a partisan judge to help strike down health care for millions of Americans and gut protections for folks with pre-existing conditions.

There's too much on the line for Wisconsin families to let Trump and McConnell ram another far-right justice onto the highest bench in the land. But if we're going to stop Republicans from confirming Judge Barrett as people are voting in this election, it's going to take all of us.

The American people deserve to be heard in this election, but we must act quickly to stop Trump and McConnell from confirming another right-wing justice to the Supreme Court before Inauguration Day. So, I’m asking:

Will you rush a donation to help end Mitch McConnell’s Senate majority and defeat Donald Trump in November? The only way we can stop the Republicans from ramming through Judge Barrett is by ending their grip on power in Washington.
